Creating your own reality series -: Praying for your own self gain.

praying-463429_1280It is said that no prayer goes unanswered, and if you believe in free will, then that is true.

It is also said that we should not pray for our own benefit.

At one time, I believed and accepted this mindset and resisted when someone suggested that it was okay to pray for ones own benefit. To me, it seemed like an abuse of power and something we should not do, but the more I thought about it over the years, the less sense it made to me.

If our every thought defines our reality, then our life is very much a reflection of our beliefs. Even if it’s the belief that we have no control and there is no God, such will be your experience.

When you bring free will into the equation, (and if you don’t believe in it, then you will experience a life without it, as that is your belief system, hence your free will!) then this means that you don’t get anything you don’t ask for. If you did, then it would be contrary to your free will. If you accept that, then everything that occurs to you isn’t random (unless you believe it is), but a product of your thoughts and prayers.

And those thoughts and prayers create our belief system.

Our belief system is certainly something we cherish and hold onto, and even might defend to our dying breath.

We might feel powerless, but the thing is that all have enormous power, though few of us really understand it and see how our personal world relates to what we are creating.

How many people reading this have heard the words in their mind ‘You don’t know just how powerful you are?’

So should we pray for our own benefit and why don’t we?

In many spiritual philosophies, it’s considered an abuse of power to pray for yourself and generate positive outcomes. Some believe that you must let others pray for you instead.

In the so called new age philosophy, we are told to not acknowledge the negatives and at the same time, you are told that if you use your powers for self gain, you are abusing them. However, we create either way and it seems insane to think that creating negatives just because positives are considered abuse is somehow considered to be better.

People can find much difficulty in praying for abundance or a joyful life. They may well believe they are not worthy or that they will be punished by god or their own karma if they do. (This is also a belief system, and thus, they will indeed experience such a reality.)

Always remember that free will is our greatest gift. It can also be, at the same time, our greatest hindrance when you are not aware that you are creating your circumstances.

We have been given free will so we can create the exact circumstances in which we wish to live.

Unless you wish experience such a state of existence, there really is no benefit to being miserable and living in poverty and depression. If you believe in a God of love, it makes little sense that such a being would desire you to be unhappy.

From my own point of view, if you wish to use your powers to better your world, go for it. Just remember to let every thought and action reflect who you are and who you wish to be.

Life is for living and experiencing. We have the tools and the blessing to do it. So go for it. Be blessed and abundant.

Follow your bliss.

Creating your reality series: – What is Attunement? Part two – The process

Following on from part one, where we discussed what attunement is, we look at what the process is all about.

The process of attunement – Part one.

This brings me to the process of attunement. Making agreements is one thing, but the process of attunement is another.

Where you end up eventually (from lifetime to lifetime) depends on what you have chosen to do and be.

Every situation is an opportunity to decide. Every choice sends out a message to the universe (or whatever you choose to call it) that this is who I am and it is said that the universe never says ‘no’ to your idea about yourself. It simply reproduces it.

This is wonderful, in theory, but in reality, it means that whatever you send out there is what you get back. Too many people make choices that they end up regretting later on.

For instance, making decisions based on exploiting others is a common mistake.

This could be anything from scamming others, cheating, being dishonest, not playing someone their dues, lying and anything along those lines.

It’s actually mind boggling just how often people do this and how many are consciously making such a choice.

They do this frequently and generally as part of their day to day routine.

Maybe they will deliberately misrepresenting a product in order to make a sale or pretend work needs to be done that doesn’t.

A well known example are second hand car dealers, who have a notorious reputation for selling what are called lemons or cars that just have problems. The salesperson will generally know if the vehicle is defective, but they generally fail to disclose it to the buyer. They have made a choice to cheat someone for their short term gain.

Still on the car theme, another common one are auto-mechanics who have charged  for work they did not do, or did not have to do. (I’ve had this more than a few times, and they certainly lost any impending business because of it.)

In short, anything that’s deliberately misrepresented in order to gain an unfair advantage over another is a decision and opportunity for attunement.

There’s an expression: Never give a sucker an even break.

I find it an interesting saying because it’s almost giving you permission to prey on those who are trusting and unwary.

In my view, though, it’s just a justification to rip off another. All you are really doing is demonstrating this is who you are, and attuning yourself to that type of reality. In the end, who is really the sucker?

Of course, not everything is premeditated. There are many decisions we make in reaction to things that happen to us.

It might be something as simple as being under charged or getting back more change than you should. Do you keep quiet or give back what you agreed to? If you were overcharged, would you say anything? If it’s good enough for one way, it’s certainly good enough the other way.

And surprisingly most will keep quiet when they get more than they expected. Some will even crow about it to their friends or acquaintances, as though it’s something to be proud of.

Yes, they might get a dollar or more, and feel they have somehow gained or won some kind of victory, but that extra won’t make a difference to their life. All they have done is demonstrated that they are willing to be petty and even potentially create a situation where the cashier might be taken to task for the shortfall in the till.

We could continue on endlessly, but I’m sure you get the idea.

Creating your reality series: – Acts of self-definition

IMG_1355Over the years, I’ve come to certain conclusions about the choices we make.

Each one is an act of self-definition.

Now, this is hardly a new revelation. Many over the years have said it, though I really don’t think they really comprehend what it actually means.

I’ve given a lot of thought on what it means over the years and have written about it in other blogs, but right now, I feel a push to write this, so I will.

We make choices at every moment; some obvious, some not so much.

I believe each choice is an opportunity and a chance to attune yourself to a reality or outcome of your choosing.

As stated in other entries, my observation is that free will exists so this blog is from that point of view.

Those with free will (which is virtually everyone on this planet, though there are exceptions) are blessed with the power to create their own realities. Most don’t seem to realize this and even those that do don’t seem to understand exactly what this means.

To put it simply, the reality you eventually find yourself in is based on our intentions, believes, thoughts and actions.

Think about this for a moment. Life isn’t happening to you. It’s happening because you are creating it. Your circumstances aren’t random. (Unless you believe they are) they are a product of the reality you have created.

You have no idea just how truly powerful (and magnificent) you really are!

It is said we have free will. Some don’t believe it (and thus, they experience a life without free will. Ironically, their free will in action.)

Some believe it, but think that it means they must make the right choices, though this implies that free will isn’t really free will if you can’t make any choice but the predetermined ones.

And some understand that that free will allows us to create whatever circumstances we desire.

If you believe in free will, then it must follow that all situations are of your choosing on some level. To have something happen to you that you did not choose is contrary to free will. It is the opposite of it.

Most people, however, unwittingly choose badly for themselves. Most choose coming from a place of fear rather than a place of love or trust.

The outcomes they experiences are more often than not, unintended. This is because that on this third dimensional plane of existence, it takes much longer for things to happen.

There is a lag between your creative thoughts and the results. It might be days, weeks, months or even years, so when it happens it appears that it is happening to you, rather than by you.

If you dare to suggest this to someone who believes they have a rough life, though, they will generally react in anger and abuse; spouting venomous words.

I find this curious. To me, it’s like saying: “Yes, your life sucks. Here’s what you can do to create the life you do desire,” and their response is: “How dare you suggest I can do this. *#^% you!”

People love to give their power away and blame others for it. For many, nothing is ever their fault. It’s always someone else’s.  They are always the victim and everyone else is screwing them over.

This is generally life on a base level for many I know. They go from drama to drama. They struggle day to day and believe their life is horrible because of everyone else around them. They ignore all warning signs and dismiss any feelings of intuition they may have.

They make bad decision after bad decision.

They don’t seem to realize that each decision they make is attuning them to that life.

Next Thursday: What is Attunement

Paranormal series: Science or fiction or just the facts, ma’am.

http://openclipart.org/clipart/people/magnifyi...

Back before the net, it was a lot harder to know what was fact and what was fiction.

For instance, if you went to a health food shop and they told you that the herb Echinacea helped your immune system, you would accept that as a fact.

You really didn’t have many ways to verify that it was true and really, if someone who was in the business of knowing such thing told you this, why would you doubt them? That was their job after all.

I did look up such things in herbal books that were in the metaphysical bookshops, however, they give the same information, so it appeared to validate what I was told.

Trouble is, many things are told to us based on vague or apocryphal information.

It took me years to realize that Echinacea did nothing for me, and it was the vitamin C in the complex that was actually helping and the claim that it helped ended up being based on very shaky evidence.

It does seem that once people believe something, they are very reluctant to change that belief, even in the face of new or overwhelming evidence to the contrary.

Long term readers of mine might know that I used to be an avid follower of Tuesday Lobsang Rampa. Many things felt right and made sense to me, and the rest I would just accept on faith. However, it was the rest that, while clearly wrong, seems to be ignored by his followers.

For instance, he made a lot of predictions about world events that should have occurred by now. From my observations, none of them have actually happened, but that doesn’t seem to bother his fan base, who just seems to completely ignore such things and never call them into question.

Any suggestions that he might be wrong are ignored or met with hostility.

This is generally typical of people who choose to believe in something but refuse to look at any inconsistencies critically.

The question is: Why?

When something is so clearly shown to be wrong, why aren’t people calling such thing into question? When something has inherent contradictions in the philosophy (and I’m looking at many cults, faiths and religions here) why do we resist looking at it or dismiss them as not important?

Just because some parts are wrong, it doesn’t mean it’s all wrong. And just because some parts are right, it doesn’t mean it’s all right.

We stymie our own growth and give our power away to others by refusing to think critically about everything.

You might say, I’m a researcher for the truth, and I use the word ‘truth’ very loosely here because the more I look, the more I see that there are no hard and fast rules, but there are come consistent universal laws that seem to apply to everything.

When I write about something, I write about my own observations and experiences. I’ve always done this, though I have been just as guilty of being dogmatic about a particular belief system, even if there were some blatant inconsistencies there.

Now, I know this type of talk might seem weird or even hypocritical coming from me, as I have written about belief systems, astral levels, alternative time-lines and many other unprovable subjects.

However, I do try and come from a place of observation and research and try to find other alternative explanations.

Next: Adapting to new evidence.

Empath Series – Psychic attacks. More ways to ward off attacks or should I pay for help?

This picture depicts the seven major Chakras w...

Psychic defense. Final thoughts.

Chakras.

One of the things I’ve noticed with people who are under psychic attack is that their chakras (the body’s energy centres) are way too open.

When a chakra is in that state, too much energy flows in and it can be overwhelming. The high level empath will often be vulnerable because their third eye will be over active and I believe our empathic powers come from that chakra.

You can balance your chakras, and adjust them by visualizing a lotus flower turning anti-clockwise with the petals closing.

I won’t get into the details here, but there are website that are dedicated to how to do this, complete with what colours to use, and what sounds resonate with the chakras.

Smudging.

Burning white sage is said to be very effective at clearing negative energies. This is called smudging, and can be used to clear a house or your aura.

Paying psychics for protection.

I’m sure there are plenty of people and so called psychics that will tell you that you are under a curse or under attack, and they will happily remove it… for a price.  Beware of those people. They will happily milk you of your hard earned money without producing any real results.

Never pay anyone to protect you from a psychic attack or remove an evil spell from you!. Those who do it for money are unlikely to have the power to help in the first place and more likely than not, have not even picked up on if you really are under attack. It may be just a lucky guess!

I remember once I visited L.A. and out of interest, I visited this psychic lady who advertised on the street. She told me people at work were plotting against me, and if I had faith and trust in her, we could work together and overcome it. I nodded in agreement while thinking, if she’s that good, you’d think she’d know I’m only here for the day. She was clearly a con artist trying to draw me in by methods of fear. In all probability, the work place will contain people who give you trouble so it’s a high chance of success of them guessing right.

Even if they are genuine, I believe that it’s not actually the money that reduces your vibrations or ability to heal, but your intentions and ego. If your intention is to make money, then so shall it be, but normally at the cost of your ability to heal. If your intention is to heal, then so you shall, but you might not automatically make money. It very much depends on what your attitude is towards money. Is it something ‘bad’ or is it simply a tool to help get what you desire? (check your belief system on that subject.)

There are also psychics who are actually very good at what they do, but then, ego takes over, especially when they have great success to start with. They make the mistake of believing they are somehow better than others, and jealousy, and elitism may also come into play. They may also become vulnerable to negative entities, who then can mess with their results.

I don’t have a lot of good things to say about psychic healers. Yes, there are some out there which can indeed heal, and there are some out there who are very psychic and do have powers. My experience has been that despite their obvious powers, many of them forget they are just a channel for healing and ego and false humility sets in. Also be wary of those who call themselves ‘Master’. ‘Master is a term of separation and I believe a true Master will be humble and will not refer to himself as such, or let others call him that title.

The same goes for those who are self-proclaimed prophets. (And yet, seem to have turned that into a business.)

Finally.

There is a school of thought (which I subscribe to) that says that nothing can happen to us unless we agree to participate on some level. If you believe in this, then this means that you have agreed to the attack. The reasons why may be as simple as that these attacks make your stronger, help you to experience who you are and to grow as a person and soul.

More importantly, they can help reveal your weak points, and lead you down paths that you would never have gone down without those attacks.

I know, I certainly wouldn’t be where I am if my life had been attack free.

Psychic attacks can be a real pain, and can really bring a life to a complete stop, and perhaps even destroy it. Never give into the temptation to fight back, and try and avoid being a victim, as that just adds to the problems.

Remember, there are many ways to deal with them that are gentle and safe.

Ask for help. It will come. And when it does, make sure you listen, and take it.

Creating our reality series: Final thoughts or can we move onto something else now?

Al Hirschfeld Theatre, view to the stage 302 W...

Still with me? Thanks for coming this far. I started off with my experience on shifting time lines, and ended up with re-creating reality. Oddly enough, a direction I was not expecting.

So, to finish this off, here are some final thoughts on the subject of belief systems.

It is one thing to create a new belief system. It is another not to sabotage it.

When you begin to create something, you will discover that events will occur which might leave you confused.

People and things will come in and out of your life. Some events may seem like tragedies at the time, but are actually blessings in disguise. (Though you will not see that unless you understand what is going on, or look at it in retrospect.) Remember, the master always blesses those things that happen because they know there is a great gift contained within.

Trust your intuition. It is your guide. It will tell you to do one thing, and your logic, and sense of status quo will scream at you to ignore it. Don’t let fear stop you. If it feels right, do it. The results may not always be immediately  apparent, but remember, we can’t see the forest for the trees, but your intuition can.

Do not resist change. Changing your belief system and then resisting the synchronicities that come your way is a recipe for frustration and misery.

When I created my new belief system, some crazy things happened, and I did things that made people think I had lost my mind.

But I did them anyway, because I had finally learned by that point to trust my intuition, and I did what felt right, even if it looked wrong.

I kept alert for signs and synchronicities and followed them at every turn. My personal life has been amazing because of it.

Every decision I made by this process ended up being the exact one I needed to make at the exact right time and even though there were times when I was going through traumatic shifts, they had to happen so I could come to where I am now.

Without them, I’d still be stuck where I was back in 1995.

Changing your belief system is not easy the first time you do it. There is the tendency to fall into old patterns, play the victim card and enter into a poor me drama, especially when you are just about to make a major shift.

It can also be extremely traumatic.

The reason for this is because when you choose something new, all the things that are no longer needed fall away, and all the things that are needed come into your life. Change can be traumatic.

I got through it because of the Bach Flower Remedies (and yes, I will eventually get onto them!)

But is it worth it?

Gosh yes!

Every one of those points I made in my own belief system came true. All the negative beliefs that I had are no longer present in my life.

According to my guides, I’ve shifted time-lines quite a few times. Some memories feel very unreal to me now, like they were more a dream than something that actually happened. They shifted because I kept on my path with a single minded tenacity. Most of the shifts are very subtle but every so often something will come up that makes me think: Didn’t I hear that this person died? (But he’s still alive.)

Shifting does occur because every time you move to a new level, the reality around you has to change to accommodate that.

And for those who are reading this blog before the earlier ones, I discuss my experiences on this subject in great detail.

Now, you may well get negative thoughts, or situations come up when you change your belief system.

This is because when you declare yourself to be something, everything unlike it comes into your life in order to give you that experience of being what you have chosen to be.

Remember, you cannot know light if all there is, is light.

What do you do about it, though?

There is a wisdom that states: What you resist persists, and what you look at and make your own disappears.

I have found this to be true.

When you resist something, you give it energy and acknowledge its presence in your reality. By embracing it, you accept it as a part of your energies, and the situation tends to vanish.

Whenever you come across something you do not want or you do not like, always thank it and bless it. Either send it on its way or state that it is welcome to join you, as long as it’s from a place of love, or for the highest good.

Yes, sounds new-agey and simplistic, but I’ve seen just about everything shift by doing this.

Also, if you get a negative thought that you do not like, simply state: I do not choose that outcome.

Finally, and most importantly, when changing your belief system, make sure that everything you do is in line with it.

It is said: Be the change you wish to see, and that is very true. When you are that change, all that is around you will start to conform.

It may take a little time, depending on how proficient you are at it, but never give up and don’t give in. Keep on choosing the same thing over and over, and don’t let self-doubts, or naysayers discourage you.

Remember, you are powerful. Don’t give your power away to others. If no one can make you a better offer for your reality, then create your own.
