Being a Psychic Healer – How I do it.

Empath Healing

Psychic Healer

Being an Empath allows you to be a potent and psychic healer. It’s something that I have been doing for a long time now. In this entry, I will look at and attempt to explain how I do this.

Negative Connotations.

I guess you could class me as a psychic healer.

Problem is, that name has a lot of negative connotations to it. This is due, in no small part, to charlatans who claim they can do things, such as psychic surgery or remote healing.

And yes, it is a sad fact that these things do exist. They bring psychics and healers into disrepute.

However, saying that because there are frauds out there, therefore all psychics are frauds is akin to saying that about any industry where scammers exist.

The issue here is, those who are fakers tend to also be high profile. They are also soft or easy targets for debunkers to go after.

Lost our way

It’s taken me a long time to accept that many things are real. There was a time where I did not believe in any of these things, though, ironically, I also believed they were true.

Somethings you have to go one step back in order to go two steps forward.

Two steps forward

Raul Taciu
Two steps forward…

Things are going along nicely for a change. You’ve had a revelation. You’ve reached an epiphany.

Life is flowing and things are good. It can only get better from here on in.

Then suddenly, without warning, you find yourself back at square one. It feels as though all your progress is gone. Things feel just as bad, if not worse, and you fall into despair because you were doing so well… and now you’re not.

That anger that you felt you had gotten past  and has allowed you to move on is back in full force and you even feel angrier than before.

Or it might be some trauma, fear, resentment, or lack of self-confidence.

Sound familiar?

What happened?

This is a very common scenario, especially for those on the spiritual path. For them it’s 2 steps forward and 1 step back. It’s very frustrating and most don’t really understand what is going on.

So let’s look at what is really happening.

There will indeed be times when we feel like we’re making headway. We are moving forward so fast and feeling so amazing that we feeling that nothing can stop us.

Then we hit that wall.

Ouch!

Why?

If we’ve faced and conquered our demons, so to speak, then why are they back?

And one step back.

The truth is, you haven’t conquered them fully. You’ve just dealt with one aspect of them. It’s allowed you to reach a new understanding, but there is still more work to do. You may revisit the same thing over and over, each time chipping away at another piece of it until finally you have removed the entire block, and are really ready to move onto new things.

This is normal. It’s not always possible to deal with something in its entirety, especially if it’s deep, long term and part of your belief system.

You have to take it in stages. You have to look at it from different angles, and each stage can feel almost the same, but there are subtle differences.

Or if it is the same, then you’ve not retained what you learned, and you need to have a refresher in what you needed to know.

Life is a process. We can move forwards and backward at the same time, and sometimes you need to move backwards in order go forward.

Remember, if something isn’t there within you to begin with, you wouldn’t be facing it. So you need to deal with it according to your abilities so you can heal it.

Healing can take a long time. There is no time limit to how long it may take. Some feel embarrassed about having the same issues come up over and over again. They may feel like a broken record, but that’s just how it goes. Eventually, if you keep at it, you will heal and get past those things that hold you back.

The problem is that most people get discouraged and give up. They forget how much progress they actually made.

This is the worst thing you can do, though. Giving up will never get you to where you desire to be.

Yes, it can be painful, and yes, you may feel like you’ll never get there, but this I promise you. Keep at it, and you will succeed. Things will shift around for you to make it happen.

Life is a process of creation. You are the creator. Trust in the flow and know that you can’t help but get there in the end, no matter how bad things seem right now.

Know an empath? Why not tell them they are one?

There’s a lot to be said about empaths. There are so many about, and it seems that many don’t even know they are one.

I have to wonder about how much difference it would make to this world is all the empaths were self-realized.

Imagine, for a moment, that there is someone you know who is clearly sensitive.

They hurt when others hurt.

See things that many can’t.

Suffer from depression for no known reasons.

Knows when you are down, and what you need.

And they just feel the pain of this world and take it on themselves.

So many people are like that and they believe they are crazy. Others tell them they are over sensitive. (As though, they can turn a knob and adjust how they feel!)

And yet, if someone said to them, you might well be an Empath, you should look into it, you might have not only changed someone’s life, but they might have even saved one.

There is now a lot of information out there on what an Empath is, what to do, and how to cope. This blog is dedicated to getting that information out there.

If you are an empath, you will sense other empaths. You will just know when you meet one. You might even sense it from their photo, their voice or just the energy you get over the phone or the net.

Let them know who they are and ask them to do the same for other empaths they know.

Eventually, there will be a critical point where Empahy will not only be accepted as normal, but embraced, and, dare I say it, a blessing and a joy to this world.

And yes, there is always the chance you might be ignored, you might feel you’ve made a mistake, and you might feel foolish or awkward.

But don’t let fear stop you from changing a life. You could be the one to change someone’s life for the better, and heal not only them, but future generations.

If you know someone who’s an Empath. Tell them.

Old dog, new tricks for longevity.

Longevity in dogs.

jerry

Large dogs are prone to health problems. I’m told that the majority don’t live past 11 or 12 years of age. It’s rare to get to 13 and above.

Today our Doberman, Jerry, celebrates his 14th birthday, and he’s not doing too badly. Yes, he’s slowed down a lot, but he still jumps pretty well, and loves his daily walks.

A year ago, though, he wasn’t looking so good, and I was a little worried that his days were coming to an end, so I used a trick I had used on my German Sheppard.

I put half a cap full of Swedish Bitters into his drinking water every day, and then every other day.

The results certainly seemed to speak for themselves, as he did get that extra perk, and he stopped stumbling when walking and had more vigour.

Back in 1994, my German Sheppard, Gypsy, was also displaying the symptoms of Hips Dysplasia, and could barely walk 10 paces without collapsing. As it was, I had been reading about the benefits of Swedish Bitters the day it started, and figured that if it was supposedly so good for human, it would be good for my dog, too.

So, I did the half a cap full in the water every day, and within a few days, he stopped stumbling, and within a week, he was running about like he was 12 again. He lived another 2 years in good health, until he just finally reached a point where I needed to euthanize him.

Jerry, the Doberman,  has been looked well after, and we take him on monthly chiropractic visits, which also help, but the Swedish Bitters appear to have given him the edge.

Curiously enough, no one takes much notice when I tell them this information, in spite of the longevity in the dogs I’ve given it to.

I think you out to know I’m feeling very depressed – Marvin, the paranoid android.

Empaths and depression

While Marvin, from The Hitch Hiker’s guide to the galaxy was by no stretch of the imagination an empath, he certainly was depressed, though in my opinion, not paranoid.

Depression is a really big problem of empaths. It is massive. Unless you have suffered from depression, you can’t imagine just how soul destroying and debilitating it is.

I remember, many years ago, when I went to a doctor to try and cure my own depression, he explained to me that the type of people who were depressed were those who were caring, were concerned about others and tended to be, well, empathic. I don’t recall his exact words, but he was describing empaths.

He put me on anti-depressants, and I took myself off them 6 weeks later, as they were worse than the problem.

Empaths are very, very susceptible to depression. Their life can seem an unending hell, and each day they wake up and wish they weren’t still here.

Depression has many causes, and while it is very possible to heal them, it’s certainly not always easy.

Sometimes you have to go deep. Very, very deep.

Depression does not come out of nowhere. It has a basis, which normally goes back to either childhood, or a very traumatic event in your life that you never dealt with or came to terms with.

There’s a lot to say about depression, and what you can do to heal from it, and over the coming period, I plan to repost my experiences, views and what you can do to deal with it.

It must be pointed out, though, that curing depression may take some deep work. I mean, sometimes you will need to look at things that your mind has been slipping around, or you have blocked out because you can’t bear to think about it.

The single most useful tool I’ve found for curing depression are the Bach Flower Remedies, and anyone who knows me will know I talk about them a lot, and have dedicated a huge amount of space to them over the year. I know them inside out, and so any posts about depression will generally include what can help heal in those cases.

One thing to note about depressed empaths is that they are no fun to be around. I mean this for other people, who may not be empathic, but will sense, nonetheless, that a person is hurting, feeling miserable, and really wishes they were dead.

So they tend to be avoided. Possibly the worst thing you can do, though. Isolating the depressed Empath is actually counterproductive for them, and makes them feel even worse.

Validation and support go a very long way to healing.
