Have you ever really taken the time to examine your thoughts?
What you are thinking right now?
Is it in line with what you want to happen?
For many people, it is, in fact, not.
If our thoughts and intentions create our belief system, and our belief system creates our reality, then it stands to reason that everything we think is creating what we are experiencing.
Generally, it is accepted there are two main realities going on here. Our personal one, and a co-created one. The latter is everyone’s thoughts, intentions, etc, pooled into a mass of energy, and the energy creates the outcome.
The former is what we experience personally.
Two people in identical situations may experience completely different things, depending on what their belief system is.
When we say something enough times, it takes on its own energy, and becomes manifest in our lives. The more energy we put towards a though, a more powerful it becomes.
However, it’s not just what we say, it’s what we believe about ourselves in relation to those thoughts.
If you say or think: I will be rich, but your true thought behind it is, yeah, right, I don’t believe that for a moment, you will find that such things take longer to manifest, if at all.
It’s all about your core belief and what you are really expecting.
There are exceptions, of course, and they have to exist in order for us to progress, but for now, I’m going to focus on comment things people say.
Phrases such as,
- I am sick and tired
- I can’t afford this
- I don’t have the time
- I can’t do this
- I’m fed up
just to name a few are often said without thought, like a mantra. Eventually what happens is that even though you may not mean it to begin with, when said enough times, they will start to manifest, and once things start to manifest, they become your reality.
They may not have started off as part of your belief system, but they will end up being so because they will become your experience.
You might say, yeah, okay, so if I say the opposite, then that’s really going to work, right!?
And you’re right, it won’t work, because you’ve already decided it can’t. Saying the opposite will not produce those results if your belief is that nothing is going to change. It especially will not work if you are out to prove that this doesn’t work.
And curiously enough, if you do have a success, the general inclination is to dismiss it as coincidence, rather than validation.
Next: Experiences outside of yourself.

One of my favorite quotes is that there is no reality only perception, you have described this perfectly.
I like that quote. 🙂 Thank y ou.
Very true – we really are creating our own reality – every second of every day
There must be a reason this message has been presented to me about three times today. Can I take back the hateful post I just left in a political blog? Okay okay I got the hint! 😉
Awesome. If you don’t like which direction you’re going, change tracks. 🙂
I couldn’t agree more with your post. I have found this to true not only for me, but those I care about as well. Seems I come from a long line of very negative thinkers. I managed to change my point of view and perception of things that happen, but it wasn’t easy! When something “bad” would happen, I would think, “Well, that’s my luck…I can’t catch a break.” I choose to dwell in the positive now. Yes, things still happen that are unpleasant, but I find I’m not nearly as negatively affected as I used to be. In my opinion, it’s a matter of choice. You can choose to dwell on the negative, or you can choose to feel what you need to feel at the time, and then move on. It’s much less exhausting looking at life as a series of choices that we make; some good…some not so good. You learn from your mistakes, admit when you’re wrong, and choose better next time. If you look at life as simply a series events that happen; you’re seeing things from a victim’s perspective. I’ve been there. Life’s so much better when you walk on the path of choice.
Thanks for your comments.
I’ll be looking at some of those points soon, too.
Yes, thing happen, but what if you could avoid some of them?
It’s a curious thing, but there are ways. Will get to those soon.
Gary, this is very strange, about 2 days ago me and my boyfriend had an argument about Descartes, and that very quote – I think therefore I am. My boyfriend has a very mathematical and logical way of thinking. I was arguing (in my very poorly worded way) that this quote is not an absolute truth. I was coming from a “nothing is real” angle, As in “nothingness exists”. We sorted out the argument (albeit both got upset) and I sent him a picture of my cat after I went home quoting “I fluff, therefore I am.”… we both had a giggle. Coincidentally I went to hand in my resume in a herbal head shop that day (which would be an absolute dream to work in for me) and On the door of the store it was written – “I love, therefore I am.” Descartes is surely haunting me these days with slightly different versions of his quote, perhaps he is urging me to think and feel more consciously. I hope it’s a good omen for work prospects. I love this new series you’re writing. 🙂
Well, as I say, nothing is random 🙂
It’s a joy to find somonee who can think like that
Again, in line with what Gemini and I have been working on. ha ha.
Awesome! 🙂
??????? thank you for this! Having OCD I’ve always struggled with getting my thought aligned to a positive place but after reading this I was able to realize that my dreaming big has helped me over come some of my negativity found in my thoughts due to the disorder and instead hopefully end up more successful!
You can’t dream too big. Just remember to have fun along the way.
